What were the routs that the vikings took?

Some of the routs that the vikings took were England directly across the North sea from Norway. Then the vikings went to Brittne. After Britten the vikings went to Ireland. In Ireland, vikings set up barricades. The vikings set up there so that way they could train new vikings. The vikings went all over the place. They say that the vikings were best at what they did which was to kill and invade.

What was the viking invation?

The viking invasion was a way for vikings to get new land and settle. The vikings went directly across the north sea from Norway which provide a vulnerable target. In 840, Thorgis a Norse viking invaded Ireland. From this point Ireland was used for a primarily military base. The vikings went by phases for invading land. First they would go after the guards or as we would put it the military. The second phase was to go after farmers and the farmers we the most easy targets for land and crops. The third phase was to take the citizens and then turn them into vikings or slaves.
The last phase was the most hardest. It involved allot of weapons. The vikings had to go and train all the new vikings and then teach them all of these phases and then let them go invade new land so the vikings could become the most powerful army of them all. The Vikings were the most successful army to invade land.

What wepons did the vikings use in battle?

The vikings used swords and knifes. Theses swords that the vikings used were very sharp, they had jobs just to sharpen the swords because they thought that the vikings were the best out of everyone. Also, they had these huge boats. They were man powered  and if the vikings were lucky it would be windy day. Some of the vikings boats had canons on the side of the boats to fight at sea. Alot of the time canons did not work because they did not enough gun potter.

Also the vikings were very good for making and using crossbows. Crossbows could be meant for long distance or short distance. The vikings mastered this weapon by helping make them and learn how to use them correctly. But the crossbow did have a sitifect when shooting it they say that when you shoot it, it could back fire and hurt or maby even kill you.

Who were the godeses for the vikings

Thor was a famous viking god who was also the king of the vikings. They say he controlled lighting with his hammer that was also his only weapon he would use in battle. They also say that he was very much similar to the Greek god lighting Zeus. Thor was the most powerful viking of them all. They say that when he put his hammer to the ground a lighting bolt would come down and make the ground fly up and every thing around him would ether get killed or get very badly injured.
